"Always have my 1st coffee of the day here when staying close by. Drinking good coffee in a lovely old building sitting by the open window is perfect on a warm morning. A proper Spanish feel to the place unlike the more modern 'coffee shops' that are popping up. Which is fine if you want to be surrounded by groups of young tourists having flat whites and paying twice as much."

"Valencia is well known for its beauty and tasty seafood. This is an airy tapas bar where I had a raccion of puntillos, deliciously fried baby squids, and with a glass of cold Vermejo. The establishment is near the sea and one can have a pleasant rest in a hot afternoon and be kindly spoiled even tasting the ever present green olives."
